Hi I'm Nola... from Chicago, IL

 

I've been croching since I was young, I remembe the first square I made ended up being a triangle. Heheh. I was probably 10 or so.

 

Now I'm 27, married, no kids and work as a programmer in Chicago. I quilt, cross stitch, knit, tat, sew a bit... as well as crochet. I go on spirts with different crafts...oh and also been getting into beading ...

 

I'm SO excited to find a crochet board!

I'm excited about this board. I am curious now about crocheting socks.. I always thought it was too bumpy to be used for socks and slippers! apparently not! will have to give it a shot..

I have been wanting to try socks too. The Toe Up sock pattern I found at www.crochetpatterncentral.com looks like it would pretty easy for my first pair.
