Not quite newbie from Cleveland, OH

Hi everyone!

 

I was taught to make a crochet chain as a child and it took me until I was in my mid-twenties to try a project. It was an afghan for my newborn nephew and he enjoyed receiving it on his fifth birthday!

 

I have gotten a bit better; I started crocheting before Christmas again for Warm Up America and Project Linus.

 

Then I decided to make my sister an afghan for Christmas. Back to my old ways - it turned into a full sized blanket (at double the cost) and I am sure she will love it when she gets it in the next two weeks. I have started on the afghan (now a blanket) for her son for his birthday...January 24th. Luckily, the party isn't until February 20th. and I have other gifts for him!<img border=0 src="http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/laugh.gif" />

 

I have not made anything except afghans and I definitely have a lot to learn.

 

I am looking forward to learning and sharing with you.(Trying to teach myself to knit too...)
