Windy City Scarf and Hat Set

The set is made of wool-ease, took almost three balls. The pattern is from The Little Box of Crocheted Hats and Scarves. Very fast to work up and the instruction were a breeze to follow.

The yarn is wool-ease by Lion Brand the colour is Wheat..looks a bit pink but I think it's just my crimson bedroom walls reflecting...lol

I know a girl can only wear so many hats and scarves, but I love 'em in winter. I have made tons of them. Besides, I use them to play with patterns and stitches, some of which I use in other stuff later. What can you do with swatches, anyway? Scarves are at least usable - Hehehe.

 

I saw that box set somewhere the other day and almost bought it. That's cute!

Nope its creme with tan fibres.....and it fits a people sized human LOL...in other words the circumference is 20"-23"

Laurie that box set is wonderful! I got mine at hastings and with my educators discount made it more so "worth it"...

 

Working on the Staten Island set now....easy peasy!
