To give or not to give: finger puppets

The reindeer finger puppet I crocheted and a spider finger puppet.

 

 

Now the problem is, I'm not sure if I ought to give those to one of my friends as a Christmas gift. He's been giving me presents every year, always something really nice and thoughtful. Are these just too lame to be a Christmas present? I mean to make more finger puppets if I decide to give them to him. Otherwise I'd probably buy him a book or glasses or a drinking game or something less imaginative.

I think they're cute!

I think they make a very nice gift, especially if he works in an office. Then when he gets bored he can amuse his co-workers over the top of his cube.

 

I worry about giving handmade things as well. If you think he's the sort who could appreciate the thought and work you put into them, then I say give them.
