Penguin

My daughter wanted to give her friend a penguin for his birthday - which was yesterday. We'll be seeing him and his family tonight, so I thought I would be able to quickly come up with a pattern for one looking like Tux the Linux penguin. Well, the project turned out to be a little more difficult than I had anticipated. This afternoon, I received a package from Herschners and with it was a pattern book called Cuddle Buddies by Annie's Attic. There is a pattern for a duck in there, so with a few modifications, I got the penguin.

 

He is 7" tall. I made him with some worsted weight I had lying around and a G hook.
