Taking crocheting up again

Hi all:  I've recently starting crocheting again after many years. Im making a throw using the Tunisian stitch  but the base laying is curling up on me. I thought maybe my stitches were to tight, do i started over making sure the stitches were loose. The same thing is hsppening. Any suggestions as to why this is happening and how i can correct it?

Tunisian is a beautiful craft.  I have just a little experience with Tunisian so I am hoping someone in the forum with more experience can help you with your question.  If not, Kim Guzman is the professional in Tunisian.  If you search her out, she might have some solutions in her tutorials.

I've never done tunisian but I think curling is pretty usual. Goggling does tunisian curl gives lots of sites.
