Flower Square # 1

Inspired to make this flower square from watching secretyarnery’s YouTube cal. I really like this granny square design. The flower motif is by Leonie Morgan. (Woolnhook on Etsy). One complete, 34 to go. The flower colors will change and maybe the flower type, too.  Aiming for a sil’s birthday. About 10 inch.

Thanks Tina. Trying to do some stashbusting. The green is from a Red Heart ombré. I’ll need more of that to finish this Afghan.  (Shifting greens)

Beautiful!  And no skew, hmm.  Are there (reverse facing) rounds of chain loops between each round of shells?  If so, interesting and discreet way to handle it.

After watching some additional videos I noticed I need to use the same number setup for my sizing to remain the same on the squares.

She has 4 squares available so far.  I've completed one more and on number three of my squares.  Assembly will be later in the year.  (if I can wait)
