New member here and let me say first off that this site is incredible.  I'm a lifelong crocheter, having started at the ripe old age of about 12, way back in the 70s.  I learned from my mom, who learned from her mom and so on and so forth.  I love bright colors and interesting textures, so I try to work those into my designs whenever I can.  I look forward to getting to know the people here and seeing all the beautiful things they crochet.
