Hi all, in my crisis I skipped this introduction post and went straight to the help section, so I thought I should come back here even though I've now been here a few weeks. . I picked up crochet on a whim about two months ago when I decided I wanted to make a wedding afghan as a gift. I picked a beginner pattern that I finished last weekend and now I've already got four more projects lined up. I guess I'm hooked! 

 

Prior to this my crafting was a little paper quilling here and there and an occasional experiment in stained glass. Mostly I do a lot of crossstitch but when I was a child I did a small bit of poor knitting but loved spinning yarn, so I may pick up spinning again now that I have a use for yarn!
