Pillow

 Made my first pillow.  The stitch is called alpin.  The second picture is the back, and it has an invisible zipper so it can be cleaned.

I've made pillows with both sides crocheted (in a very similar stitch, in fact), but my sewing skills aren't on this level much less zippers.

If it wasn’t for YouTube, I could not do it.  I have only sewed invisible zippers a few times.  The pattern was also free on YouTube from Crazy Cool Crochet.

Your pillow is very pretty. I admire the Alpine stitch. It would go well with my sofa set and I really should make a few pillows for some added color. Ever since I first saw the stitch, I've wondered how it came to be named.
