NFL logos are trademarked so there most likely was never a published pattern here as it would be against forum guidelines.  What you probably saw was the finished item that someone was able to design on their own.  They could share photos of their work but not their pattern.

^ what she said.  There have been a lot of similar threads here looking for patterns for trademarked cartoon characters or team logos.  The Steelers Org. is the only entity who could legally offer a pattern of an item with their logo, EVEN FOR FREE.

But, if you can find an image of their logo that is usable for a blanket on the net, and capture it's image, you can run it thru a program that will digitize it into a grid of colors that you could follow.  Knit pro is one I know of, there are others; it is set up for either square grids (needlepoint, ross stitch, crochet) or knit format grids (knit stitches are not square, so don't pick this one!).

It will rasterize (scramble the color pixels) at the edges, in other words where a yellow edge meets a black one you will have some squares that are blackish yellow--you will have to pick one or the other color to make a delineated edge where you think it should be.

It also has different sizes, for a blanket you probably want to pick XL.  You will also want to do a gauge swatch and figure out how wide 120 sts will be (example, if your gauge is 4 sts per inch in width, one st is .25", so .25 x 120 = 30").  You probably want to have a blanket bigger than that, so you'll have to plan for a large edging or figure out how many stitches of plain background to add on either side - and also above and below the 160 stitch height of the grid image.
