Here is a few new projects I crocheted recently. A couple of dishcloths for charity baskets and a cabled scarf that I crocheted for the Veteran's outreach.

Thanks Judy! I am working on hats too. I crochet them for Warmth for Warriors and a local Veteran's Outreach program. I make blankets also for them but too hot right now for crocheting blankets.

That's great...I don't make hats for the NICU I contribute to, just blankets. Other people that I know enjoy making the hats more than I do

So the story is:

One day my first niece said:

- Aunt, could you make me a horse head keyring, pretty please? 

Then the second niece said:

- I'd love a crochet cupcake...

Then the third one asked for... a triceratops...

There is also the fourth niece, but luckily she's only 1 yo and can't speak yet 😃

I know that feeling..lol! That's how I got roped into surfing turtle patterns a few years ago before making one for my faux granddaughter🤣

I can say that my nieces, who asked for keychain amis (see above) not only wanted me to make something for them, but also to teach them how to crochet! They are 10 and 9 and I am so proud of them! They made their first baby whales with my help.

After I've made a swarm of sunny bees for my daughter' scout group, my cousin asked if I could make some birds for her daughter's scout group, which is called "Merry birds".

Looks like scouts here are lucky this summer

So I made two birds and they were approved by our scout girls, so only 25 more to go...😅  I still have plenty of time (till September).
