Got any recommendations for hook cases? Or patterns to make them from?

I was using ziploc bags until a wonderful fairy godmother from here gifted me with a bag similar to this.  Mine has a strap across the top to carry it.  I love it!  I keep my hooks, scissors, stitch markers and some buttons in it.  Its been one of the handiest gifts I have received.

I've been using the hard plastic pencil cases that you often see on sale during the back to school sales.  They can sit open when I have them on a table and they stay shut and protected if I slide them into a travel bag.  They can store hooks, scissors, safety pins, etc.

I was thinking of buying a case from AliExpress for about $10 plus shipping. Or make a case like this myself. I wonder if it would cost more to make it myself...idk. Any suggestions? How do you store your hooks or needles?

Steel etimo hooks came with their own case.  Years ago a zip fabric case purchased from Etsy cause I loved the color and the animal print, especially the hedgehog.  A zippered make up bag from local store, holds my wood hooks.  All(assortment of items) of it kept in clear zippered bag that KnitPicks sells.

I made a case for my yarn hooks, I've been using it  for decades; it doesn't hold the bigger hooks (biggest hook I have in there is a K) , I own bigger hooks but rarely use them.  I acquired a plastic case for my thread hooks (I think from a magazine subscription eons ago?) but if I hadn't I'd probably made one for them, too.

The pattern was here http://priscillascrochet.net/freepatterns.html , the aluminum hook case--there's also one for steel hooks.

Ah I just realized you can use a non-traditional organizational bag like a makeup brush bag or toiletries travel case to organize your hooks...wonderful idea! I ended up buying a case for hooks from Hobbii online store that comes with a pouch for little things like stitch markers. Although my stitch markers came in an organized box already...

Oh these patterns look really nice...welp if only I was patient enough to wait before buying a ready made case from Hobbii...

Thanks for the pattern idea, I may end up making a case after my new case arrives in the mail. Because I have a lot of hooks, extra sets of steel hooks mostly but also extras of aluminum hooks.

I have a wood caddy my DH made me several years ago. If I travel, I use the heavy-duty magnetic eyeglass cases. They're lined so I can stick needles in the lining of the lid. I always add a few stitch markers too. For my Tunisian crochet hooks, since some are the long ones, I use a knitting needle case.
