Knick Knack Basket Bowls

Just finished the purple and white edging bowl. Textured sides created with sc/dc alternating stitches. Started on a red. Using up some more stash yarn 😁. Haven’t quite decided what each will hold. Candy, nuts, tangerines?   These will be given as Christmas gifts along with the gift mason jar recipes.

What a neat idea for treats and nice work. I did something similar for fruit bowls a few years ago and included a plastic tray (that go under flower pots to catch water) in each that I got at Home Depot in the garden dept.

Thanks for the reminder. I used those trays several years ago for plant type baskets.  Would help structure the bottom more. Not sure if I’ll make it to Home Depot in the near future.   😊

Finished the red one. Used 3strands of sport weight on this one. Have enough for one maybe 2.

Thank you. Grandson so far has left that alone this year.  I like useful items, too. Try to think how recipients might use items.
