Saw this on YouTube yesterday. Carol Burnett corrects the audience member that it's "Actually crocheted, not knit". I've included the link in case you would like to watch the episode from 1969. Funny!

  and of course it would be silly to wear a granny square skirt with anything but a black sequined top! 

I don't think I've ever laughed harder than at some of the segments of that show....oh my goodness that was a long time ago!

I'll say it was a long time ago! I loved that program and miss the old variety shows.
