Hello! Welcome to Crochetville! I'm new here, too! Haven't you heard? Seventy-eight is the new forty-five, you're plenty young! I'll be thirty-two in September.

I'm terrible at patterns, so I rarely have anything to do with them.

My stack of patterns is more of a, "Oh, shiny! I wish I could do that! Oh, I need to learn this/these stitches so I can try to fake making something like that! Oh! That one has such brilliant colors! Bookmark it so I can use it as a reference to go buy that yarn!"

Because I can follow a pattern about as well as a blind man can follow a pirate's treasure map on a moonless night in the middle of nowhere with no one to guide him.
