Button Maker Program

I'm wondering what software you gals are using to make such great buttons?

I wish to make some myself, and I'm totally in the dark.

I use PSP7 to make grahics with, but if you don't want to mess around with a graphics program, you can use a button generator. Here is a good one to play with:
