Again I entered three of my Gütermann C Ne 50 sewing thread doilies at the Royal Easter Show in Sydney and this time I was awarded "Highly Commended".

When you say "sewing thread" do you mean crochet thread size 100? I rarely go beyond thread size 30, so I am impressed!

I had the chance to crochet with J&P COATS thread size 150 and compare it to the Gütermann C Ne 50 sewing thread. The sewing thread is much thinner. I am going to post another example.

In this picture you have the white J&P COATS crochet thread and the cream Gütermann C Ne 50 sewing thread. For both I have used a 0,35mm TULIP hook.
