Hi! I would like to introduce myself: I am Marie and I started sewing at 8 yrs old. I started crocheting when I was 16-18 yrs olds. I taught myself by doing a small ripple afghan. I was missing something bec the edges were curling so my neighbor helped me and it was perfect after that. I like making doll clothes but I want to try the amigurami too. My dolls are infant, 3yr old sizes and 18" dolls. I live on a mountain and winters are long inside so I always keep busy. I was taught basic knitting when I was 8 yrs old by another 8 yr old. Only half of what I make gets finished. I put it down and loose track of where I was. When I had 4 kids at the house They each had an afghan and a scarf. My nieces each had a sweater. I made a lot of granny sq afghans with scraps , some were gifts. But I don't care for making them now. All talents can be improved on even if it's by learning one stitch!!
