stumped on amigurumi pattern

I am working on a bunny rabbit amigurumi pattern. I have finished the body and ready to make the head. The first line of the head instructions says "Rnds 1-6. work rounds 1-6 of body. 36 sts". I can't figure out what to do. Can you help.

When you get to the end of round 6 of the body do you have 36 stitches?

If so it likely is just a reminder that at the end of row 6 before starting row 7 you should have 36 stitches.
