I just stumbled onto this website when I saw a question someone asked. I am 70 and was taught to crochet by my Grandma, when my babies were little. I am left handed, but learned righthanded, b/c  I needed her to help me. So I have been crocheting for over 50 yrs. I started out making booties and baby layettes, b/c I knew Grandma wouldn't always be here to make them for my babies and grandbabies. I went to thread crochet (doilies, bedspreads, collars and hair accessories. On to rugs in doily patterns with 6 strands of wool rug yarn. Now it's mostly baby blankets.  I also paint in oils, acrylics and watercolors, having a weekly art class for children.  Thanks for accepting me.

Welcome  to Crochetville from the Gulf Coast of Florida.

Grab your yarn and hooks, put your feet up and sit a spell.

We are always so glad to meet new friends.😁

We love pictures.  There is a whole section devoted to pictures.  We also have threads just to talk or show what you are making for charity or gifts.
