Bailey4 Posted January 7 Thanks for the link. I've got an egg pattern where the child can "crack" the egg and then cook it. It's one of my favorites for this type of thing. I have a stack of crochet food books with sticky notes marking pages and printed patterns for this project. I just have to work through them all. It was actually a good time to inventory what I had because I've done the breakfast thing a couple of times but I keep adding patterns and then I forget what I have. Bailey4 Posted January 7 While on that site I saw the BLT pattern and if I can find the right shade of Lily Sugar and Cream you may have just found me the best bacon pattern yet!!!!

Oh I hope you can find it! I saw in the pattern she used the color Terra Firma. I've never heard of that color before. Hope you find it. Keep us posted. Bailey4 Posted January 8 Ordered it from Herschners today. I couldn't resist. I have some Red Heart that might have worked but I'm thinking the cotton will be stiffer.

judianne Posted January 9 Hi ladies! On 1/6/2021 at 10:40 AM, Apak said: They are beautiful. Age of your crocheting friend is amazing. Do you give the blankets to the church and then they are gifted to all christened children? Yes...We all drop off the blankets at the church and then the lady who started the group collects them and ties them with pretty ribbon, primping them up before each baby gets one. On 1/6/2021 at 11:09 AM, ReniC said: Anna: The scarves will be beautiful and the ginger's are very cute. Judy: Your scarf is great. I love the Moss stitch. It's one of my favorites. I've decided to stick with the Mosaic Granny. The As Time Goes By blanket has a fidget in the stitches that make it difficult to get in the front loop only unless one crochets very loosely. I don't have the patience to fidget. LOL I had to frog 2 rounds, 2 different times because of a stitch I left out. Bad part is, it was in the same, exact spot as the first time. All remedied now though. Yes...that stitch is so great for so many projects! On 1/6/2021 at 2:06 PM, segi1974 said: Judy the blankets are beautiful. You will have to tell your friend that she does beautiful work. Your cowl is a very pretty color. Thank you! I'll pass on the compliments... And the yarn I used on the cowl was without a label but I was looking through a Mary Maxim catalogue and I think I saw the same yarn - called Starlette I think. Might be wrong.... Apak Posted January 10 Thank you. The next shawl changes from ruby to green. I like it that you can choose colors and compose them as you wish and they wind up a skein for you (I mean kokonki.pl, the company where I buy the yarn).
Bailey4 Posted January 12 The pattern is beautiful and the colors are amazing. Then again I do love purple. That's really cool about how they wind the yarn. I am always trying to find the spot in the yarn to start to get the pattern I want.

Bailey4 Posted January 14 Breakfast Egg For the play value this has to be one of my favorite patterns. Kids can use it to "make breakfast" or to "bake" as the egg cracks open and the egg with some assistance does come out.

RecycleCindy Posted January 16 Good morning everyone and loved seeing all the wonderful gifts posted already for this year. I will be working on hats and mini stockings again this year for Warmth for Warriors. I did start out the year and crocheted some baby hats for my local hospital nursery. Here are a few pics of them.

Since the hospital doesn't take the baby blankets at this time I was going to make the baby blankets for a place called the Baby Bureau that makes bundles for babies in need. That would go great with the blanket.
