Decrease pattern

Hi! Just had a quick question on a crochet pattern...

What is “ Dec 2 sc in 1, 5 sc, repeat” ? I am confused as to how many times I should be decreasing before I do 5 sc. Thanks in advance!

If this is exactly the way its written I take it to mean make a decrease by combining two sc in previous row into 1 sc on this row.  Then you sc in the next 5 sc of previous row.  You then repeat the decrease followed by 5 sc and possibly keep repeating the decrease followed by 5 sc until you reach end of row or round.
