Border requires Ssslst stitch

Dollee

Question

I'm working on the border for the Westphalia Afghan and it says: 10 sc, ch 6, ssslst. In the Special stitches notes, it shows sslst as a sideways slip stitch but I don't know what the additional s means.

Pattern calls for ssslst but the notes only include sslst

Sideways slip stitch?....probably not.

The only other thing that popped into my head for an extra 's' is 'surface', there is such a thing as a surface slip stitch, I'm not sure how it would look done sideways, tho.    A normal surface slip stitch looks like a chain on the top of the fabric and dashes on the back side, so I'm also thinking 'probably not' for this guess.
