Hello! Happy to be here!

Recommended Posts

I'm a self taught newbie. I've been crocheting about 2 yrs now. I love it and am looking into starting to write some patterns. Any advice would be welcomed!

Hello and Welcome!

Sorry I can not give you advice on writing patterns. Because I would not like to write them.

Use standard terminology, abbreviations, and formatting.  We get a lot of people coming here for help after purchasing substandard/inferior patterns----ones that look more like an outline.  Often times those with experience can figure it out but new crocheters often have no clue what this shorthand is telling them to do.
