Not quite a newbie

Hello everyone!

My name is Brittany and I joined this forum a long time ago. I don't remember my log in info or anything so I just made a new account. I've been crocheting off and on for 18 years. I also knit, tat and cross-stitch. I mostly do amigurumi, though. :) nice to be back with all of you!

My name is Cathy but I often go by the nickname "Cat". I will be 70 years old next month and I've been crocheting for over 60 years & cross-stitching for probably 50 years. I did take some breaks (a year here & there) while raising my two boys & working full-time. My Grannie taught me to crochet when I was a very little girl when I would go over to her house after school. I learned to cross-stitch when dating my husband (we celebrated 50 years of marriage last year) and it was his mother that showed me how to do that. I always have at least 2 projects going in both cross-stitch and crocheting now-a-days since we are retired senior citizens.
