Potholders for Niece's Birthday

When my niece bought her kitchen table a couple of years ago I made a large round hotpad to put over the glass piece in the center of the table.  I think she liked it better than she thought she would and asked if I would make another for her birthday so she could periodically change colors.  She was especially excited when I told her I could put a different color on each side.  I use the round portion of the solid square from the following pattern adding rounds, make two, and then single crochet them together.  The large ones are 16 1/2 inches in diameter.  She picked the colors for the first one out of my stash.  I ordered yarn for the second set because I know she really likes neon green and orange.

Super idea for the glass table top. I too have a glass top dining table (what was I thinking?) I should make one, if that's ok with you.
