I’m stuck on a pattern. Please help :)

Im making a bedtime outfit for a bunny I created. I got stuck at row 7. The pattern tells me to “sk 18” when skipping 18 stitches do I double crochet into the 18th stitch? I’m just really confused and hope someone can help me. Thank you in advance.

Skip 18 means to 'leave 18 stitches empty', so you'd make your next stitch into the 19th stitch.

Forgot to add, you might be creating armholes with the skipped stitches, if so you will be skipping 18 again at a later point for the other armhole.  If so, it's going to look really weird at first--it will fold over, and the next stitch you make after you skip 18 will be at the center of the underarm, the fold is the armhole.
