Help me make this border

Tanya727

Question

Hi!
I have been working on a blanket with this yarn and I would love to give it the same border. I am a rookie and I’ve been using the double stitch pattern. I’ve looked up different borders and I see the scallop border (Which I have been practicing) in this but it seems like there are several borders on this blanket.
Can anyone help me distinguish them so I can YouTube how to make them?
Please and Thank you!

It looks like the first row is just DC, (it looks like there is a space between them, but I'm not seeing a chain between.

The next 2 rows are just 4 dc shells (4 dc made into 1 stitch, skip ?, sc, skip ?, repeat), which is a little unusual, usually shells are an odd number of stitches because the 'math' works better.

A 3 dc shell is: 1 dc made into 1 stitch, skip 1, sc in next st, skip 1, repeat

A 3 dc shell is: 5 dc made into 1 stitch, skip 2, sc in next st, skip 2, repeat

Next row for both of the above, to have them nestled together as you see them, is to make the shell in the sc of the row below, and the sc in the middle stitch of the next shell.

You are probably going to want to turn the corners something like a granny square, I would set that up in the DC row.
