This cat could be made double-thick to be more like the Scottie.  Or this simpler one, shouldn't be too hard to make it a bit bigger (and double thick) if need be to 'match'.

You could probably adapt the face to fit a cat, buy making the snout smaller and rounder, instead of the square.  Also, add some length to the tail.  That is fi you use the pattern Bailery4 gave you.

This particular vintage pattern is for a potholder made with cotton so, it would be a little larger with heavier yarn.

If you have a favorite pattern for a Scottie Dog you can easily change size just by changing yarns and/or hook sizes. Using smaller or larger hooks on the same weight of yarn will even change the size.
