My current favorite no brainer/travel pattern is hdc between the stitches. Here's a lap throw and two doll blankets in that pattern and a solid granny doll blanket.travel

Cute blankets and I like the look of that HDC in-between stitching. I might try that next time myself.

Judy the colors are stunning.  I am always blown away by granny blankets as my squares are rarely the same size and sewing them together is just not so fun.

Mono those blankets are so pretty.  I love seeing people do something different.

Hi peeps!

Thanks for the compliment on the blanket. using a neutral border color helps with the dramatically different colors of yarn I used. And if the weight of the yarn is different I change hooks. I learned that lesson the hard way years ago when the blankets looked wonky😂

I have quite a pile of blankets now...

It's my medition, anyway...lol.

Most of the time I make stuff for gifts or donation, but I do like holiday decorations for myself.  This one was to give me something new for Memorial Day and July 4th.

I been working on some dishcloths to change things up a bit these days. These will be either gifts or for a charity fundraiser. I'm just adding them to my pile of items that might be needed in the future.

Dishclothes are one of my destresser projects when I need something calming.  I also find they are a great way to learn new stitches, not always as calming.

These are very pretty.  I love the colors and textures.

Love the hats and the dishcloths.  Yeah, dishcloths are great for a stress reliever.

In case anyone has not see this, I made it for bgs for her Birthday.  I sent it early to make sure it got there in time.  I had fun making it and the graph I got from Grammom's Graphs.  She not only makes the graphs, but tells you what colors she used and how much yarn is needed.  Kansas City Chiefs/Royals Afghan.

Here's a 34 inch rr  I made entirely from scraps and added to the pile of hats I left at my nurse neighbor's house this morning.
