I’m new to crochet and following a pattern from TNGiftsUA to make a parrot. One of the rounds asks me to “(Sc 2, inc) rep 6 times” - does anybody know what the 2 refers to? The next round is “(Sc 11, inc) rep 2 times”, but again I don’t know what the 11 refers to. Any help would be appreciated!

Usually when you see something like SC 2, or 2 SC, and it  doesn't tell you where to put them, it is 'understood' that it means '1 SC in each of the next 2 stitches'.

So here, over a span of 3 stitches: 1 sc in the first st, 1 sc in the second st, 2 sc in the third st (for the increase).  Normally an increase is 2 sts in 1 stitch, if not it would say so.
