Super Easy Crochet Stocking

xturtletoex

Question

Hello,

I'm pretty new to crocheting.  I am looking to create a stocking for Christmas.  The easier it is the better.  I'm not looking for anything fancy right now.

The less pieces te better.  I have never read a pattern before, but am fine with looking things up as I go for anything needed.

Any help would be great! Thank you

The 'hard' part about real socks or stockings is the heel; there are a few ways to do a sock heel and they are mostly a tad...not hard, just unusual and not intuitive.  Basically the rest is just a closed tube and pretty easy.

These are probably about the easiest sort, there is a heel but 'not really'

Ones with a more traditional heel - maybe try a mini one first for practice?

Have fun!

It's been a while since I made the girl one, but it was the first stocking I ever crocheted and it was pretty easy. I used traditional Christmas colors.
