Split single crochet increase

How do I do a split single crochet increase

Hi, welcome to the 'ville!  I had to look it up as I know there are a few sc variations where you put the hook in a different spot, and I haven't gotten around to this one yet.  Instructions here for the regular stitch both written and video.

Hazarding a guess, as I can't think of an increase that isn't multiple stitches into 1, that it would be the same for this stitch.  Make 2 complete stitches into the same 'upside down v'.

Check out this site  https://newstitchaday.com/how-to-crochet-the-split-single-crochet-stitch/  I found once I read the instructions, I realized that you will make 2 stitches into the center of the single crochet stitch.  Hopefully this will help, as it shows a video and written instructions.
