Decyphering a pattern

harold

Question

This pattern in Polish is telling me something, but I am not getting it:

On the outer edge are areas marked “A”, “B”, “AA” and so on.

Also, Rows 21, 22 and 23, there are notations 1A or 21  (lub means or in Polish) 2A lub 22, and 3A.

can someone enlighten me on this

please and thank you.

It started renumbering and adding the a because you will be doing this sequence in other places around the pattern----the places marked B.  It says or because continuing in your count they would also be row/rounds 21, 22, and 23.

I agree with Bgs except the patterns differ and there are  different stitch counts in the last complete areas of A, B, and AA, I think there are going to be different diagrams for each on the next page of the pattern, or maybe just a 1/4th view of the pattern which would cover them all.  One segment isn't marked with a letter at about 10 o'clock, but looks like it should be another AA.
