catwoman Posted May 28 Hi. I was wondering if a person could use the brioche stitch for making socks and sweaters? What do you think?

0 Granny Square Posted May 28 (edited) Brioche is on my list of techniques to learn so I can't offer stitch advice. Bgs found a sweater, here's one of many free brioche sock patterns on Ravelry - some looked REALLY complicated, this is cute and a simpler looking pattern than most, might be a good one to start with. https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/198-15-spring-brings Edit, I just looked closer, the pattern calls the flower 'English rib' which is apparently the same as 'Fisherman's rib' which is brioche...I think, or so Google tells me?? Anyway there are many other free socks that come up if you search for 'brioche socks' in Ravelry. Edited May 28 by Granny Square
