Tampa Doll Report post Posted February 12 If I remember when I needed Tampa Guys birth certificate we had to write to Harrisburg, Pa. He was born in Philadelphia. All records were sent to the state capitol. I was able to get mine in the city I was born in, Camden, NJ. Why don't you try both. Most places have their records on computers now, but some of the old ones may not be yet. Cloudy today and waiting for rain. I hope everyone in the North East are ready for this storm. Here is the doll I have been working on. I was unable to do 2 things like the pattern. One is the hair. It was just to confusing. 2 was the sculptured face. I envy anyone who can. Of course I made the doll in thread instead of ww. I was sooooooooooooooooo big in ww yarn. Well, here is my doll and here is the original. The ones with the cards you can access from home by entering your library card number and pin. The others you can access by just clicking on the link. Tampa Doll Report post Posted February 13 Good Morning. We have had rain since last night. I was woken up at 12:30AM because of the thunder. Scares the you know what out of me when it wakes me up. Went to the Dr. early this morning, then got a blood test. Today was heart Dr. for DH, tomorrow is the regular Dr. for both of us. Hope everyone is doing ok. katyallen8090 Report post Posted February 13 more dead ends i looked at marriage certs, or tried to but i dont know the year or really the state could have been here, but i think they met in wash dc where mom was a government clerk of some sort in the office where they transcribe things to braille for the blind she said once she could still read braille, and could still type it too if she had access to a braille typewriter after all those years spent there he of course was probably then in the army but without dates or locations its a job something i waited too long i guess to try to do ah well lol yeah i might write the army and ask them for some dates i guess sun is out nice and bright today! hope the snow all melts!! other than trying to finish my series on netflix i really dont have any plans i did finish another scarf this am though this one i started a bit different like arlene did i started with a chain as long as i needed, then sc along and 3 sc in the end for turning and in the end, turned and went down opposite side of the scarf and just continued both ends turning and both long sides till it reached 6 inches wide then i ended it off!! worked i didnt round mine off like snowbear did i left them square ended but a rectangle lol so that worked out well i dont know how to round the ends off like she did but love that look!! i will try another soon and see if i cant figure out how to round the ends lol you know i do not have a calendar lol i rely on my puter to show me day and d♥ate and i use the memo thing there but we never bothered to get a reg paper calendar at the new year i will have to get on somewhere we should be able to get one at least from the 2 banks we deal with huh lol i wonder if i call them ans ask to send one out if they would if not handy could pick it up i guess well reak=lly all for now ill catch up more maybe later take care all ♥ Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
katyallen8090 Report post Posted February 14 wow both dolls are too cute lol i like both mj!! oh another day or days of snow i guess for this week im getting sick of snow ya know other than the stupid weather all here is normal for now so will just kick back and find something that i can do i guess i think we are making potato soup today the taters are already cut so we will do that later on, putting it together sounds good for another snowy day i watched a you tube video on secret places in some houses and they were amazing.. drawers that opened on steps undersides of a staircase, , and hidey holes big enough for a safe room was really interesting this afternoon i might watch a couple more episodes of season six of Dexter hes a serial killer and also he works at the police station in miami, as a blood guy specialist forensics guy very interesting started out he only killed bad people that killed other innocents, now its getting a bit more cos his wife was killed by another uncaught serial killer, so hes going after him he has the inside track as he is the first to know the blood dna of the killer his sister is a detective and i fear they will soon clash at the station hes almost got busted a couple of times, but being with the force he has miraculously gotten out of tight places and, she remains blinded as to how killers keep getting themselves killed and why? and by whom turns out his brother was a killer too so dexter had to kill him anyway its a good story but could have lived without the sister cops potty mouth well so it goes as it snows ol take care to all Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Tampa Doll Report post Posted February 15 Be prepared for the military. When my brother was in, they had to send for his records, the Dr. said he was in great shape for a man his age. They sent my Dad's, instead of my brother's records. Dad was Valentine John and my Brother was John Valentine. Good Morning everyone. Hope everyone had a nice Valentine's Day. We had a Dr. appointment (not good A1C readings 7.5 for me 7.7 for DH), then spent the day not doing much. Besides it being Valentine's Day it was our 48th Anniversary. We had steak and lobster tails for dinner. We don't go out, as there are to many going out for dinner. Today I want to get back to my crocheting and doing other things that were let go yesterday. katyallen8090 Report post Posted February 15 hello well guess what its snowing again lol been a long cold snowy february for sure finished a scarf up this am it went pretty fast turned out real nice the i watched most of season 7 of my serial killer show it is nearing the end i think with maybe 1 or two more seasons i really dont have a clue where else it could go but over lol cold and lightly snowing but dont know the inches expected as i have not had on the tv most of the day i usually watch netflix from the lap top when i am in the craft room as the screen is a little bigger on that then on the tv in there lol not much chatter on the thread lately every one ok??ill see ya soon till then take care Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

We've gotten a lot more rain this year, and this week even more than the last year and our basement flooded twice. Put out the pilot light on the furnace and the water heater, so we've been dealing with that mess, along with the fuel pump going out in the truck. This lady who didn't know me, is cleaning out her stash and sent yarn and fabric to me thru my best friend. Thought I'd work on hats for the school where my daughter works. Not much going on here. It is suppose to start warming up, but I will believe it when the Florida State Fair is over. We always have bad weather then. Cold and most times rainy. Next is the Strawberry Festival. Then Spring Break. I had to laugh the other day. Governor Cuomo is saying the Florida is stealing people from NY. Just because we have not state tax, or city tax only sales tax and that amount depends on the county you live in. My son-in-law was here waiting to drop off my granddaughter when I got home, she is napping right now so it's quiet here. Tomorrow both daughters, 3 grandkids and I are going to the renaissance festival, not sure if my son-in-laws are going. That's about it for my corner of the world.
