I used up a skein of bulky yarn in a lapghan...+2  = +3.

I finished the prayer shawl and took it to the knit/crochet group. The lady who brought the knitted squares liked how I added crochet squares and made a shawl with them. I used a skein, donated 2 skeins and brought 11 balls to my mom (+ 15) . To day mom and I went to Michael's and I got 7 skeins (- 14).

I’m trying to use up a skein by this evening!  I’ve been laid up with a bad back (AGAIN), so I’ve had time to get a lot of crocheting done.  I think I’ve pinpointed the culprit to being my work laptop rolling case, which when I lift it up and down steps, into the car, etc. is VERY heavy.  Also, I’ve been bringing in wood and I think I’ve been loading up too much in the bag. As much as I want to think I’m really strong, I don’t think I am!  😠 😢 😡

This week I made several more preemie blankets and finished up all the 14 week size sets. I used a total of 2 skeins and 5 balls om those (+9). And today I made Welcome blanket #3 for my church and used a skein and a ball there (+3). I've got 5 more of those to make in the next week or so....

I spent the night at my parents, I did a little on the bus/subway ride here. My mom found an Othello board game so we played a few games after lunch, she won them all. I did get some in last night. I finished a potholder and started a second one. I'll add what I used to this weeks score. I have tomorrow off but they're saying it will tonight  into Mon., so I'm going home today. If it's bad tomorrow, I'll stay in and get a start on the 2 baby afghans I need.

This week I made 3 Welcome Baby blankets for my church and used 3 skeins and 3 balls there (+9). Two more to go and then this project will be done for a bit. At this point,  I've made 4 blue and 2 pink, with 2 green still to do. We just had 1 little boy born last week, and a second boy due in April and then the rest are going to be stockpiled for future babies. I'll just make ti replenish as needed ♡

Tomorrow I'm investing in myself.  I've never learned how to use makeup or really do anything with it.  Tomorrow I've got an appointment at our local Ulta for an hour long lesson! My mother gave me this as a gift for Christmas to celebrate my weight loss.  This past week made 10 months since my surgery and I've lost 121.6 pounds.  I've hit 90%of the way to my doctor's goal for me.  13.4 pounds to go! I'm really hoping to hit my goal by my 1 year anniversary. 

The rest of the week doesn't look so great though.  Two different specialists appointments for my oldest to try and determine why she's been in constant pain for the past 2 weeks,  and the Hubs leaves with the Army for a long time.  I'm going to be doing A LOT of crochet to keep myself occupied and not mindlessly snacking while he's gone.
