Hi everyone! I'm Melissa, I live in Stephenville, TX and I love to crochet! I'm looking for a group near me to meet with once a week. I need that time to visit with others who love yarn just like me! Anyone know of anything?

Hi, Melissa!  Welcome to Crochetville!  I don't live near you, but I have a few suggestions.  If you are a senior citizen, there may be a Senior Center near you--you can start a crochet group there.  Or if there's a YMCA near you, inquire with them.  We have a crochet group that meets every Monday at our public library.  Inquire in those places, and if they can't help you--put a little ad in your newspaper for fellow crocheters.  I, myself have created 3 different groups here in Vincennes--one at our Senior Center, one at our local library, and one at a retirement home.  We meet on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday for 2 or 3 hours each.  We really enjoy it!!  Good luck!
