Hello, my name is Sara Lappi, and I live in Saint Louis. I'm a long-time knitter, but wanted to expand my skill sets to include crocheting, as well as sewing and quilting. Along with several other members of my church, I belong to an ad hoc group of knitters and crocheters (named Holy Yarn!) that make hats, scarves, shawls, lap blankets and afghans, and other items either to sell to raise funds for our food ministry or to give to people in need. I wanted to learn to improve my technique, and when I found this site, I signed up. Glad to be here.
