Lily n cream granny squares bag question

Hi.I am sewing the motifs together by going in the 2chains each side.I was wondering by going in the 2 corners chains on each side does it mess up the sts for the edging?what do you guys think?

I assume you are sewing together rows in 1 direction and then going back in the other direction as discussed in an earlier thread, right?  So the question is, what to do with that 1 corner stitch in common, that's already been stitched into?   I'd just skip over that stitch going the other direction.  The sewing seam is on the wrong side, and the yarn passing  over 1 stitch to continue on the following one won't look that odd.
