Grandchildren Afghans

I haven't completed much this year, because I've been working on twin size, identical pattern afghans for my 3 grandkids. The goal was to get them done for Christmas. I got 2 done. The 18 mo's afghan won't be done until Jan/Feb. These are a true labor of love!

I used red heart's Aran Hearts Throw. I replaced the hearts in the middle with their names. Also, the blue & grey yarn was much thinner, so I had to add a huge border.

OMG! They are so beautiful!!. They will be trilled to get them.

You sure put a lot of work to that. To be willing to put so many hours making that... it is for sure a Gift of Love! :heart.

Krys

PS: I do not have that much patients to make something like that. I get bored very quickly.

I even hate to crochet same item more than once. I do not like to crochet same thing over again!:(.

Thanks for the lovely sentiments, everyone!

Krys, I haven't started the 3rd, because of boredom. I hate doing a pattern more than once, unless it's something that I love and a long time between. Plus it's 3 lbs. of yarn. By the time I got to the border, it's was heavy. I am determined to get Jude' s started next week.
