Hello, fellow Hookers!

Hello, and thank you all ever so much for welcoming me to this Forum! I am very happy to be included and benefit from the experience of others. I started crocheting at the age of 16, when I was diagnosed with arthritis; my doctor at the time advised me, among other activities, to learn to crochet to keep my fingers nimble and flexible. Now I'm 53 years old and have never regretted my decision to learn to crochet: my hands are the only part of my body that arthritis has not attacked! I have been privileged to make many beautiful, one-of-a-kind items over the years for my family and others; in my congregation when a sister finds out she's pregnant everyone knows that I will get to make her beautiful, useful, and unique garments that become heirlooms to pass on. In advance I thank you all for your patterns, experience, and tips on how to better my own abilities.

Many sincere thanks,

Kathy Reyes de Villegas, partyrican1@yahoo.com :yay :ghug :ty
