baby blankets

5 posts in this topic

I've made several baby blankets this year. The first three are for the grandson due to arrive mid-December and the last one is just to have on hand. The second and third ones are Mary Maxim kits. The last is waffle stitch, but it doesn't really show in the picture.

They are all wonderful. Sure like that yarn in the Waffle Stitch blanket.

I agree that they're all wonderful! :)

The train fillet is amazing. Is it your own pattern? I love how the trains alternate direction. What yarn did you use? (Can you tell it's my favorite by all the questions? Lol)

Thanks, Reni and Sharon! The waffle stitch yarn was a destash from here and I think it's a Caron SS, but I don't know the color name. I really like it, too.

The train blanket is a Mary Maxim kit that came with MM Twinkle bably yarn. I bought the kit for someone else, but will make another one. That baby's not due until May.
