What crochet stitch is this?

Hello, I am fairly new to crocheting and of course I fall in love with a stitch I have no idea how to do.  I really like that this combination of stitch creates a dense diagonal pattern with what looks like a tiny dot between the single crochets.  I have searched the internet and although I have found similar looks they aren't exactly like this.  Thank you!

It sort of looks like a stitch that is easy to do, but has a lot of names - linen stitch, woven stitch, seed stitch.  Except, it's really tight looking, maybe a too-small hook, and/or stiff yarn (almost looks like it's done in a cord versus yarn--your sample looks like it would make a great rug).  Basically, sc, chain 1, repeat --- next row sc into the chain space, chain 1 over the sc below.
