Cornflowers for Lou

(Lou Gehrig that is )

Cornflowers are the symbol for the (ALS) Lou Gehrig society and since my husband died of ALS I wanted to do something to mark their work.

the pattern is my daisy afghan version.  When I checked images for cornflowers they showed both light and dark purple centres so I went with both

Darski you always do beautiful work!.

You are a "perfectionist", like me. I love nice ("perfect") work, according to me LOL. Nothing else will do for me. When I am crocheting or doing something else and I am not completely satisfied, I will rip that, change that or do all over again until I will like what I see. Only than I am done with that project!  LOL.

I'm sorry to hear that your DH, and you by proximity, suffered from such a debilitating illness. Your strength shows in your work. Now I know where you gained a lot of that strength.
