Strawberry Kitchen set

Recommended Posts

I finished another basket for the American Legion Silent Auction.  I started with a strawberry plastic bag holder, added a potholder with a strawberry and finally added a kitchen handing towel that hangs from the stove handle. This will be sent up soon, as the Auction is in Sept.

I had to laugh when I saw that you needed this set by Sept and had been working hard to get it done--I thought: "Good heavens!  What's the hurry?!"  Then I remembered my own concerns about getting "stuff" ready for our County Fair.  It's in July--and Good Grief!  That's almost here!!!!  Time really DOES fly--when you're having fun--crocheting!!! :P

Thank you all.  I am sure they will like them.

I try to send them something different every year, so it starts to get down to the deadline and I panic.

Yeah it is almost July, so not much longer till they have to go.

This whole set started with the plastic bag holder and went from there.

Just beautiful, Mary Jo.  I really want to come live with you.  Your house must be fun with all that crocheting going on.

That's a terrific raffle item.  I'm sure it will raise a good sum of money.

My SiL says the auction is next week.  It is amazing the baskets they are getting donated.

Thank you Cindy.  I had fun making them.
