I thought this was going to take me a couple of weeks, and instead it ate most of May and the first week of June. I love the piece, but I also love having it done. Here is my blog post about it if you want to see more pictures.

It's really cool looking!   That's a lot of work, too.  I think you did great to get it done in ~6 weeks.  While each hexagon wouldn't take that long to do, there's a lot of them + all the joining.  Great job!
