Understandable mandala vest

Hello,

 

I am looking for a pattern of a mandala vest.

I've found some free ones but I was scared I wasn't going to understand them...

So they could be paid ones too if you must.

The most important part is that a beginner crocheter(is that even a word) can understand it..

The 2 listed above look very do-able for a beginner.  If you scroll down, the first one shows you that it's just a circle with slits.  Both of the patterns use basic stitches combined in different ways, and they seem written very clearly.  You can do it!

 

Two things, - first, read through the pattern to see if there's anything that doesn't make sense to you.  Second, do make sure that you are hitting gauge, which is mainly critical on this sort of garment  to make sure the armholes end up in the right spot for you.
