Baby dress

Jessica Cintron-Del Valle

Question

I am doing a bernat sweet baby outfit. It is two colors and has two rows of each color. It's my first time.

I don't get the ending do I need to do this row twice:

Shape armholes: Next row: Sl st in rst 2 sts. Ch 1. Pat to last 2 sts. Turn. Leave rem sts unworked. 43 (47) sts. Work 1 row even in pat.

With this part do I have to do two of the on above the this one or one of the above and one of this one with the same color.

Next row: Ch 1. Sc2tog over rst 2 sts. Pat to last 2 sts. Sc2tog over last 2 sts.

Rep last 2 rows twice more. 37 (41) sts.** Cont even in pat until armhole measures 4 (4 )" [10 (11.5) cm], ending with RS facing for next row.

Welcome to Crochetville!

Work even in pattern means to do a row using the pattern without increasing or decreasing.

You're going to do a decrease row by skipping stitches. Then a row without decreasing. Then a decrease row by sc2tog. Then repeat the non-decrease row & the sc2tog decrease row twice. Finally do non-decrease rows until the measurement is right.
